CgMs has wide ranging expertise in the provision of planning services to the retail and leisure industries. We act on behalf of developers, retailers, leisure operators, institutions and pension funds in maximising the value of their land and property, assets and investments.
In both sectors we advise on matters relating to retail and leisure need, the application of the sequential approach and impact on town centres. We have a particular understanding of the application of retail and leisure planning policy, as set out in the new PPS 6, and are conversant with the latest trends in this sector . We undertake Retail Assessments, Sequential Site Analysis and all other relevant research required to achieve a retail or leisure permission.
The team has extensive experience of appearing as expert witness at Public Inquiries in relation to retail and leisure proposals.
