Metropolitan Police Authority, Custody Centre, Croydon

CgMs provided planning advice to achieve planning permission for the redevelopment of an existing site in the MPA’s ownership at Windmill Road, Croydon for a new policing facility to include a custody centre and accommodation for one Safer Neighbourhood Team. The scheme seeks to provide Croydon’s Borough based custody centre as part of the Metropolitan Police Authority’s ongoing estate enhancement programme.

Metropolitan Police Authority, Custody Centre, Leyton Midland

CgMs provided planning advice to achieve planning permission for the redevelopment on a brownfield site in the MPA’s ownership at Leyton High Road for a borough custody centre and accommodation for two Safer Neighbourhood Teams with outline permission for residential development on the remainder of the site.

Metropolitan Police Authority, Custody Centre, Wandsworth

CgMs provided planning, historic buildings and archaeology advice to successfully negotiate planning permission for demolition of some of buildings on site and for the erection of part one/part two storey extension to the retained Wandsworth Police Station building, which falls partly within the Wandsworth Town Conservation Area. The extension seeks to provide Wandsworth’s Borough based custody centre as part of the Metropolitan Police Authority’s ongoing estate enhancement programme.

CgMs provided planning and historic buildings advice to successfully negotiate planning permission for a significant extension to the existing locally listed Wimbledon Police Station, which falls partly within the Wimbledon Broadway Conservation Area. The extension seeks to provide Merton’s Borough based custody centre as part of the Metropolitan Police Authority’s ongoing estate enhancement programme.
