Cannon Wharf, Deptford, London

CgMs have submitted a detailed planning application for the erection of 696 dwellings and 6,588 sq.m of commercial floorspace on this brownfield site. The application, which is accompanied by an Environmental Assessment, represents the culmination of four years pre-application discussions with the London Borough of Lewisham, GLA, CABE and other parties.

Data Centre, Kegworth

This 2.8h greenfield site was declared surplus to the Bank’s requirements. Not being a developer, the Bank nevertheless wished to sell it with the benefit of a planning permission for higher value. CgMs pursued its residential designation through the development plan process and also submitted an application for outline permission with all matters reserved.

Cgms is advising Countryside Properties on the redevelopment of a 8.17 hectares brownfield site, occupied, until the summer of 2009, by part of the Mid Kent College higher education facility.

Primarily residential led mixed use scheme for the redevelopment of the former Kennedy Sausage Factory and refurbishment and conversion of former Peckham Fire Station.

Queen Mary's Gate, South Woodford, London

This 3.5h site orginally provided accommodation and playing fields for students of Queen Mary College, University of London. It became surplus to requirements. CgMs successfully pursued the redesignation of the site for general housing (including reduction in open space provision) through the development plan process (via an inquiry) on behalf of the College.
