Herts and Essex Hospital
CgMs’ Historic Buildings Team have been involved with the Herts and Essex hospital since 2001. The site was built and run from 1836 – 1930 as two workhouses and after 1930 as a hospital.

Homerton
On behalf of the City of London, CgMs Consulting provided planning and historic buildings advice on the redevelopment of the Former Homerton College of Technology in Homerton, East London, to provide a new Academy as part of Hackney Learning Trust’s programme of school improvement. The Academy will accommodate 900, 11 – 16 year olds as well as 240 students within a sixth form.

Ladywell Bath
CgMs was commissioned by a LB Lewisham project team to prepare an initial assessment for the conversion and re-use of a Grade II listed former public baths. The report was submitted via the project architects in support of an application for funding. The site was proposed for continued community use.

The Maze Prison
CgMs was instructed by the Office of First Minister and Deputy First Minister (OFMDFM) of Northern Ireland, together with the Environment Heritage Service (EHS), to identify the heritage value of the site and make recommendations for the suitability of statutory protection.

Sir Paul Pindar's House
CgMs Limited undertook a detailed analysis and record of Sir Paul Pindar’s House and the Morlaix Staircase at the Victoria and Albert Museum to inform dismantling of the structures prior to relocation within the museum.

Temple Works
CgMs undertook a full cultural heritage study and evaluation of the history and architectural and historic value of the Holbeck Conservation Area and the buildings within it. As result, the team were able to assess issues arising from proposed re-development and re-use of Temple Works for mixed use led regeneration.
