CgMs has worked directly for the Home Office since 1997. We have particularly been involved in property matters concerning immigration and nationality matters and more recently for the Ministry of Justice and the Probation Service.

UK Border Agency, Immigration Centre, Bullingdon, Bicester

CgMs were originally instructed to submit a Notice of Proposed Development (NPD), as was required at the time for Crown development, for the erection of a 750 place immigration accommodation centre to house asylum applicants while their applications for asylum are being determined.

Home Office, Immigration Removal Centre, Dungavel, Glasgow.

CgMs’s Planning and Historic Buildings were advised by the Home Office’s Immigration and Nationality Directorate on the conversion of the former Dungavel Prison to an Immigration Removal Centre housing 150 detainees.

CgMs’s Planning Division advised the Home Office on the development of a major new office facility for the South East, close to the Channel Tunnel.

UK Border Agency, Yarl's Wood Immigration Removal Centre, Bedford

CgMs were originally instructed to submit a Notice of Proposed Development (NPD), as was required at the time for Crown development, for the erection of an 800 bed Immigration Removal Centre (IRC) at the Twinwoods Road site.

Department for Communities and Local Government, Regional Fire Control Centres

CgMs provided planning advice to DCLG on a nationwide programme of 8 new regional Fire and Emergency Control Centres across England together with a new Centre in London.
