CgMs provided planning advice to achieve planning permission for the redevelopment on a brownfield site in the MPA’s ownership at Leyton High Road for a borough custody centre and accommodation for two Safer Neighbourhood Teams with outline permission for residential development on the remainder of the site.

CgMs provided an inital desk-based assessment in the pre-application stages of the project to assess the archaeological potential of the site and address any issues arising from the sites location within an Archaeological Priority Area.

CgMs were involved with the scheme at a pre-planning stage and prepared a desk-based assessment that showed significant potential for archaeological remains within the site. CgMs were then commissioned to manage the archaeological fieldwork before and during construction.
