Revised PPS3 -Housing
The Government has today enabled its powers on 'garden grabbing' and the abolition of minimum densities. In addition to a press release to prevent the "destructive practice of 'garden grabbing'" the release also refers to the scrapping of minimum densities so that Councils will be able to decide what density is appropriate for an area so as to encourage more family homes and affordable housing. To accompany this position a revised PPS3 has been issued with immediate effect with changes to paragraph 47 on minimum densities and the definition of PDL.
