Becton Gasworks
Our archaeology team recently input the cultural heritage section of an environmental statement supporting a planning application for the redevelopment of the former Becton Gasworks submitted by National Grid Property Holdings. The scheme for various B use class buildings, a public park and Thames riverside walk was granted planning permission by the London Thames gateway Development Corporation with no cultural heritage conditions attached.
